The present inventive concept relates to a system, method, and composition for preparing and manufacturing water-soluble, powdered cannabinoid and/or terpene extracts with enhanced bioavailability and adjustable bulk density, overcoming the limitations of existing extraction methods.

The original patent disclosed a water-soluble, powdered cannabinoid and/or terpene extract, but it had limitations in terms of bioavailability and bulk density adjustability. The present inventive concept addresses these limitations by introducing a combination of emulsifiers to enhance bioavailability and a novel manufacturing process to achieve adjustable bulk density.

The inventive concept comprises a system for preparing a water-soluble, powdered cannabinoid and/or terpene extract, involving a solvent and a combination of emulsifiers selected to enhance bioavailability. The method involves mixing the extract with the solvent and emulsifiers, followed by spray-drying to form a powder. The resulting powder has an adjustable bulk density based on the final dosage form desired. The composition further comprises a pH-dependent release agent and is loaded onto a mesoporous silica.

The new claims introduce a novel combination of emulsifiers to enhance bioavailability, a manufacturing process that achieves adjustable bulk density, and a pH-dependent release agent, which are not present in the original patent. These features provide a non-obvious improvement over the existing extraction methods.
